Meet your local team and transfer to your accommodation. Settle in, review the days ahead and leave the rest of the afternoon open to rest after your journey.
Explore Tarangire’s baobab country on a game drive, following the park tracks towards riverine habitats and open grassland. Continue to your lodge after a picnic lunch, allowing time to settle in before dinner.
Discover Lake Manyara’s forest and lakeside habitats on a guided game drive. Return to the Karatu highlands with time to relax in the lodge gardens before dinner.
Travel towards the Serengeti and watch the landscape open into wide plains. Look for wildlife along the route before arriving at your accommodation for dinner and the first evening in the bush.
Head out with your guide to explore the Serengeti’s changing habitats. Your route responds to local conditions and wildlife activity, with time for a picnic or a return to camp between drives.
Leave the plains behind and continue to Ngorongoro. The afternoon is reserved for your arrival at the crater rim and a slower evening at the lodge.
